                                                                 INVITATION TO THE FIRST IFF FLOORBALL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SEMINAR

Dear Floorball friends,

The Central Board of the International Floorball Federation has decided to launch a Development Program for its member federations, in order to support and develop the organisation and the activities of our members. The first pilot of the Floorball Development Programme Seminar will be organised by the IFF, in co-operation with the Hungarian Floorball Federation. The seminar will be held in the city of Eger, in Hungary between the 16^th and the 18^th of December 2005.

The Development Programme Seminar is built on three different blocks, one for Organisation, one for Coaching and one for Refereeing all aiming to give additional knowledge in these fields to the federations. The seminar is directed to give insight in organisational issues for the federation’s president/vice president, general secretary and some club leaders, the coaching course is meant for national team coaches and elite club coaches and the refereeing is for persons responsible for referee education, nomination, observing and some top referees.

The course consists of theoretical lectures, practical training sessions, group works and hand-on training and observation. The Hungarian Floorball Federation will supply the Seminar with two Floorball teams that will be used in the course. The IFF will provide the participants with the educational material from the course.

The International Floorball Federation invites your federation to participate in this Development Seminar, with 3-4 persons per country in each of the three blocks.

The participation in the Floorball Development Programme Seminar is free of charge, but all participants are responsible for their costs related to travel, accommodation and food. The price for the accommodation is 10-15 € per person/night in the Eger Youth Hostel and the meal-package (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) price is around 10-15 € per person/day.

The nominations of participants to the seminar shall be at the IFF Office latest on the 11^th of November, 2005.
